With elbwire, Smace and Goyaa, IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH has added three new startups to its funding list in May 2023. Beyond Emotion has already been on it since the beginning of the year. In this article, we briefly introduce all four companies.
elbwire
elbwire, funded by the InnoRampUp program, develops software solutions to support the transition to sustainable mobility and energy supply. This ranges from private households regarding the planning of photovoltaics or the appropriate electric car to corporations that want to efficiently electrify their vehicle fleet. The startup's approach is to map, coordinate and optimize the interactions of the various sectors. Among other things, it relies on artificial intelligence to automatically calculate highly complex configurations and provide optimal recommendations within a few seconds.
Smace
New to the InnoFounder program, which supports early-stage startups, is Smace. Smace provides a platform that helps companies and their employees improve internal communication, collaborate smartly and sell successfully. It enables improved visibility, increases productivity, and reduces manual and time-consuming tasks. With Smace, companies can digitize the sales process and realize greater cost efficiency and automation.
Goyaa
Goyaa has found a place in the InnoFinTech program, which does not only accept startups from the financial industry. Goyaa belongs to the LegalTech category and contributes to counteracting the shortage of skilled software developers. The startup is building a low-code platform that enables the creation and introduction of GDPR-compliant, professional, customer-oriented applications. This is intended to simplify and democratize digitization processes in the legal industry.
Beyond Emotion
Beyond Emotion also benefits from InnoRampUp program, which is primarily designed for technologically highly innovative startups. Beyond Emotion has developed a software that recognizes and evaluates facial expressions of people in need of care. An artificial intelligence can distinguish 17 different emotions and inform relatives or care professionals about mood changes and acute problems. Of course, all of this is done in compliance with data protection regulations. You can read a detailed article about Beyond Emotion here.
