Startup City Hamburg offers a comprehensive overview of Hamburg’s startup ecosystem: The platform combines a diversity of information about funding opportunities as well as various networking possibilities. In addition to facts and figures on Hamburg’s startup scene, current support and funding programmes for startups in Hamburg are presented. Startups and organisations supporting them can register themselves on the platform and thus become a visible part of the network. Additionally, founders and entrepreneurs can search for suitable investors from Hamburg and all over the world and post cooperation and job offers.

In addition to helpful services and functions, Startup City Hamburg also offers a wide range of news and events from the startup scene. Visitors to the site can find out what is going on in the scene, which startups are currently celebrating success and which events are a must for founders and entrepreneurs. Those interested can find inspiration for their own startups in the “Success Stories”, where successful startups report on their business ideas.

The platform is the result of a joint initiative by the Ministry of Economics and Innovation, Hamburg Innovation, Hamburg Invest, Hamburg Marketing and the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit). Startup City Hamburg was technically implemented by the agencies State of Glow and Dealroom.
