372,000 euros for 5 games projects from Gamecity Hamburg
As part of the prototype funding programme, Gamecity Hamburg is supporting five games projects in the 2024 funding round with up to 80,000 euros each as non-repayable grants. As an initial financing, the funding favours foundings in Hamburg and supports companies in the development of digital games prototypes.
These are the projects funded in 2024
This year, the awarding committee once again recognised the high quality and diversity of the 29 projects submitted. Including this sixth funding round since 2020, the development of a total of 31 prototypes was supported as part of the prototype funding programme. The application phase for the next round will start in spring 2025. And these are the projects funded in 2024:
Chaos Royale by Monodot - 80,000 euros
Map Map - A Game About Maps by Pipapo Games - 80,000 euros
The Regreening from Positive Impact Games - 80,000 euros
A Most Honourable Bunch by Osmotic Studios - 72,000 euros
Melodies from Behind the Stone - 60,000 euros
