Gamecity Hamburg supports, connects, and makes the extensive games ecosystem in Hamburg visible. We support startups in the development of concepts for digital games with the incubator Games Lift, with financial support of € 15,000, a workshop and mentoring program as well as workplaces in a coworking space. Startups do not give up any shares.
With the Hamburg Prototype Funding, we support developers and game studios in the creation of prototypes for digital games. Projects can be funded with a maximum of 120,000 euros, which is a non-repayable grant.
Startups are the future of the dynamic games industry in Hamburg. The indie scene in Hamburg is growing and advancing innovations for game concepts and digital projects. We support this innovation potential with our programs.
