Teams and developers can apply for the sixth edition of Gamecity Hamburg's Games Lift Incubator until June 10. Five teams will receive financial support of 15,000 euros, a varied workshop programme and access to international experts from the games industry.
In five funding rounds, Gamecity Hamburg has already supported 25 startups and developers in the Games Lift Incubator in the creation of computer games. Graduates of the programme have received numerous awards. The first games from the Games Lift Incubator have now been released. Indie developers who are accepted into the incubator can expect one year of support in the form of knowledge transfer, the provision of resources and a strong network.

Specifically, the participants receive:
15,000 euros in financial support
an additional coaching budget of 1,000 euros
a comprehensive workshop programme tailored to the needs of indie developers
individual mentoring from five experienced industry professionals
space for exchange and collaboration
joint trip to an international industry event
access to the Games Lift network with around 30 industry experts
playtesting sessions and other internal and public events
After careful consideration of all eligible applications, the awarding committee will invite a selection of applicants to an online pitch in July. The final decision on which teams will be accepted into the Games Lift Incubator be made subsequently. The programme will then start in September.
