Visitors to the 14th Hamburg Games Conference on March 1 and 2 can look forward to an extensive program and the ideal opportunity for matchmaking with the German and international games industry. The focus is on the conference theme "Invest in Games", a second track offers talks on dev, startup and financing topics.
The Hamburg Games Conference is strengthening its international relevance this year. Among the guests are numerous decision-makers from the global games industry, including companies such as MTG, InnoGames, Endava, Humble Bundle, Assemble Entertainment, DDM, BLN Capital and Exit Games / Photon Engine. A highlight will be the keynote speech by Stephanie Marchand of Behaviour Interactive, Canada's largest games studio, who will travel especially from Montreal to kick off the conference under the title "Behaviour Interactive - 30 years of independence and loving it!".
The Games Conference as a networking event
In addition to the extensive lecture program, networking and matchmaking are the focus of the Hamburg Games Conference. The event will be held by the organizers Gamecity Hamburg and GRAEF Rechtsanwälte as well as the executing agency Super Crowd Entertainment for the first time since 2020 as a pure presence event in the Altonaer Museum. Via the digital matchmaking system MeetToMatch, participants can make contacts in advance and meet in person in the business area of the conference. The get-together on the evening of the first day also allows networking in a relaxed atmosphere. In the Expo Area of the conference, studios and service providers from the games sector will present themselves to the public on both days.
