IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH has started 2023 with four new fundings. As of now, FormFinder, Vanozza, VOIDS and Procuros are receiving support. We briefly introduce these startups in our article.
FormFinder
FormFinder, the startup of the two engineers Oliver Meyer and Saman Seyid, has made it into the InnoFounder program. Their service offering includes consulting, planning and calculation of lightweight support membrane and rope constructions for and with industrial partners from a wide range of industries. Another focus is on developments and improvements in membrane, rope and joining technologies. The decisive factor for the funding, however, was the prospect of creating location-independent and rapidly activatable energy storage systems for wind power. It is not yet possible to get a more detailed picture, for example via a website; FormFinder is only at the very beginning.
Vanozza
Vanozza is already a few steps ahead. Founder Nico Hansen's food startup has been through the foodlab Hamburg accelerator program and won the Food Innovation Award in October 2022. Vanozza owes its success to a vegan cheese alternative that comes remarkably close to the taste and texture of mozzarella. The product has already made it onto pizzas in numerous restaurants and is also set to conquer the food retail market in the future. For the time being, InnoFounder funding is providing financial security.
VOIDS
VOIDS and its founders Tobias Wandersleb and Jannik Semmelhaak qualified for the InnoRampUp program. This startup promises to improve business in e-commerce with the help of artificial intelligence. The target group is medium-sized companies with annual sales of 5 to 50 million euros. They are to be helped by software to better assess opportunities and risks and to plan their future accordingly. Not only did the IFB find the business idea convincing, VOIDS was also able to secure a place in the globally active accelerator Techstars.
Procuros
Procuros has been part of the IFB family for quite some time. Already in spring 2021, the startup received support through the InnoFounder program, now followed by a InnoFinTech funding. Financially, Procuros is well positioned anyway; in spring 2022, a financing round of 9 million euros made positive headlines. The startup owes its successes to the development of an interface that makes it much easier for its customers, often startups, to do business and exchange data with retailers.
