Around 5 million euros for DEALCIRCLE in new financing round
In a financing round led by the InnoVentureFonds of IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH, the Hamburg-based startup DEALCIRCLE has secured around 5 million euros. Company builder Hanse Ventures, Carsten Kraus, Philipp Klöckner and other business angels are also involved.

DEALCIRCLE uses AI to help with succession planning
DEALCIRCLE was founded in 2018 by Kai Hesselmann and Graig Gröbli. The startup's matching technology automatically creates a comprehensive longlist of potential buyers for consultants in the field of mergers & acquisitions. All data is handled in accordance with the highest security standards. Buyers from various sectors use DEALCIRCLE as a source of information. The company placed around 1,400 M&A projects in 2024 and will market more than 2,000 projects this year.
In June 2024, DEALCIRCLE already secured a seven-figure sum from investment company Round 2 Capital. The startup intends to use the fresh capital primarily for acquisitions in order to bring strategically important technologies in-house and to be able to serve the small and mid-cap segment even better in future. The succession problem is at the centre of this. Small and medium-sized family businesses in particular are having an increasingly hard time to find suitable successors for their companies. DEALCIRCLE's artificial intelligence-powered solution simplifies and speeds up the search. As an additional service, DEALCIRCLE founded the online marketplace AMBER at the end of 2024, which connects buyers and sellers.
