Internationalisation programme Hamburg Next Level enters into the next phase
At the end of 2024, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce launched the initiative Hamburg Next Level to support startups and innovative SMEs in their international expansion. The programme is now entering Phase II, for which applications can be submitted until 25 June.

What awaits participants in Phase II
Phase I was about creating the basic knowledge for internationalisation. Phase II, called ‘Discover’, is dedicated to target market identification, international market dynamics and business cultures as well as specific scaling strategies. In concrete terms workshops are planned for 1, 2 and 15 July, which will be organised by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the consulting firms PwC and OCO Global. Participation in the Hamburg Foreign Trade Day is also included. The programme for the final phase III includes a delegation trip and pitches to investors. The call for applications for this will be issued later in the year.
To apply for Phase II of Hamburg Next Level, previous participation in Phase I is not a prerequisite, but can be an advantage. The programme is aimed at all startups and innovative SMEs seeking global growth. Important criteria are:
Head office in Hamburg or the metropolitan region
Product-market fit in the B2B sector
Growing sales and reference customers
Concrete plans for internationalisation
You can apply online using this form. Interested parties answer a few questions about their company and upload a pitch deck. The submissions will be evaluated based on their international potential.
