No other event in the world is as focused on founders as Slush in Helsinki - at least that's what it's website says. In 2022, 4,600 startup representatives and 2,600 investors attended. At this year's edition from November 30 to December 1, Hamburg Invest's Startup Unit will support a total of four startups in their appearance. One of the spots is already taken, for the other three you can apply until September 10.
This is what the Slush and the Startup-Unit offer you in Helsinki
The non-profit event is especially aimed at international tech startups and scaleups. In addition to the strong focus on networking startups with investors, media or policy makers, Slush also offers several stages on which inspiring contributions and discussions are held. From the Startup-Unit you will receive the following benefits:
A conference ticket for a representative of the selected startup.
Cooperation fee in the amount of 500 Euro.
Participation in the joint stand "Startup-Champs Germany".
Integration in own events and networks of the Startup-Unit Hamburg.
The booking and organisation of the trip is done by the participants themselves. The Startup-Unit supports the matchmaking in the run-up and on site.
Save at the Slush is dpv-analytics, the company which in June won the Hamburg category at the contest Startup-Champs. If you also want to secure a spot at Slush, you must fulfill the following conditions:
Company headquarters in Hamburg or the Hamburg metropolitan region.
Age of the startup maximum 10 years.
Meaningful proof of a strong product-market fit of the own product.
Presentation of a justified entrepreneurial interest in participating in Slush 2023.
A panel of experts will evaluate all applications received by the deadline based on maturity, scalability and international marketability. The selected startups will be notified by email no later than Wednesday, September 13.
