Jungheinrich founds subsidiary for innovative business models
Hamburg-based Jungheinrich, one of the leading intralogistics companies, has founded the subsidiary Uplift Ventures. Its task is to develop innovative growth companies and invest in attractive startups.

Uplift Ventures focuses on scalable technologies
With Uplift Ventures, Jungheinrich aims to develop business areas beyond its core business that have particularly high growth potential. The companyis thus also opening up to new markets and customer groups and driving forward the digital transformation in logistics. The focus areas of Uplift Ventures are AI-based optimisation of supply chains and material flows, robotics, autonomous logistics systems, sustainable energy solutions, digital platforms and solutions relating to the circular economy and sustainability. The company is managed by Christina Mayer and Kerk Wichmann, who launched operations in the first quarter of 2025.
Jungheinrich's existing partnership with High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) will be intensified and further expanded in future via Uplift Ventures. Further fund investments will follow.
