Care startup fabel wins an emotion Award
Last Thursday, the 15th emotion Awards ceremony took place in Hamburg. The prize, awarded by women's magazine emotion, goes to women who have achieved remarkable things on a social or entrepreneurial level. Among the winners were Alicia Faridi and Maximiliane Kugler, the founders of Hamburg-based startup fabel.
Three other Hamburg-based startups were nominated alongside fabel
fabel offers a digital platform that supports family cargivers. This is done via an app that allows users to put together a personal care team, coordinate tasks, plan appointments, document care activities in a comprehensive diary and access a wide range of everyday helpers and service providers from the care sector. The founders, Alicia Faridi and Maximiliane Kugler, received the award in the ‘Founder’ category, in which Prof. Dr. Pia Wülfing from the breast cancer platform PINK! gegen Brustkrebs was another Hamburg entrepreneur nominated.
From a Hanseatic startup perspective, Lena Weihrauch from aiomatic and Elnaz Nouri from UrbView completed the list of nominees, both in the category ‘Women in Digitalisation’. This award went to Agnieszka Walorska, founder and CEO of mika from Berlin, an AI solution for accounting. And these are the other award winners:
‘Woman of the Hour’: Anna Ohnweiler (founder of ‘Omas gegen Rechts’)
‘Social Values’: Christiana Bukalo (co-founder of Statefree e.V.)
‘Diversity in Media’: Kübra Sekin (actress, performer & activist)
‘Hand in Hand’, special prize for teams: Juuuport e.V.
