The goal is a big appearance at the OMR Festival

Startups that have been active on the market for at least six months and develop innovative solutions for social, technological or ecological challenges are eligible to participate. Ten teams will be selected from all applications. They will have the opportunity to meet experts and investors from the startup and venture capital scene at an exclusive networking event in Berlin in mid-March and pitch their business ideas. Successful female founders such as Larissa Schmid, co-founder of saint sass, and Toyah Diebel, CEO of Buttz, will be among those in attendance.

The three startups that deliver the most convincing pitch will qualify for the final at the OMR Festival 2026 on 5 and 6 May in Hamburg. There, they will present their ideas to a large audience of experts from the digital economy, media and marketing sectors. Last year, the finalists presented a wide range of innovative business ideas: Menstruflow impressed with a drug-free solution for relieving period pain. fabel pitched a digital platform that simplifies care processes for family carers. And Fyrce Care presented its AI-supported service for freezing egg cells.
