The Scaleup Landing Pad Hamburg offers strongly growing GreenTech companies from all over the world customized services worth up to 50,000 euros. This year, young, fast-growing technology companies from the mobility, logistics, energy and construction sectors can once again receive targeted support in Hamburg for their expansion activities into Germany.

The offer aims to link these so-called scaleups with relevant companies from the Hamburg metropolitan region and to accompany them in developing their business in the Hanseatic city with economic success. In the past launch year of the Landing Pad, 13 growth companies from ten countries had already successfully participated in the program and benefited from the diverse offerings.

International green tech scaleups: Apply until April 30, 2023

Hamburg Invest's Scaleup Landing Pad Hamburg, which is commissioned by the Hamburg Ministry of Economic Affairs and Innovation, is accepting applications online until April 30, 2023. International scaleups with innovative green tech products are eligible to apply. Companies must demonstrate business success in their home market, be in a strong growth phase, not yet established in Germany, and show intent to tap into the Hamburg ecosystem locally. All submissions will be evaluated by a panel of experts. The first admission phase and onboarding will start in May 2023.

The selected companies will receive services worth up to EUR 50,000 tailored to their individual needs as well as personal one-to-one support until the end of 2023. They can choose from four components provided through a curated network of external service providers with Hamburg expertise:

1. Business development: active matchmaking of scaleups with relevant business partners, support in initiating, finding funding and implementing pilot projects.

2. Living & workspace: up to 8 weeks of accommodation in a furnished apartment in the center of Hamburg as well as up to 8 weeks of co-working space or individual offices.

3. Location consulting: market and location analysis, consulting on organizational and process development, recruitment services for determining personnel requirements and hiring new employees.

4. Business services: Support with marketing and administrative issues such as visa & work permit, insurance, legal & tax, company registration.
