The term “zebra” refers to startups that combine sustainability and social change with commercial success. Impact Hub Hamburg is looking for such companies that break through black-and-white thinking for the Zebra Investment Night. Valuable contacts and the chance of funding are on offer. The application phase lasts until January 20, 2025.

Zebra Investment Night procedure and conditions of participation

On March 6, eight impact startups will have the opportunity to pitch in front of 40 decision-makers from the investment and venture clienting sectors and from family offices. The event will take place at Commerzbank Hamburg and will be followed by a dinner with the opportunity for in-depth networking. There is also the chance to receive an investment of between 10,000 and 25,000 euros or accelerated access to due diligence with a venture capitalist such as Impact Shakers, Partners in Clime or better ventures.

Startups wishing to participate in the Zebra Investment Night should fulfill the following criteria:

  • The startup has already been founded and is based in Germany.

  • It is in the pre-seed or seed phase.

  • As an impact startup, its top priority is to solve social or ecological problems.

  • The basic plan is to become profitable and scale up in the next few years.

  • A prototype or minimal viable product (MVP) is already available.

Filling out the application form takes a maximum of 15 minutes. All applicants will receive information about their results and the next steps after January 20.
