TrustNXT is already proving itself in the insurance industry

Early-stage investors D11Z.Ventures and High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) are participating in the round. TrustNXT is a spin-off of Basler AG, a company which specialises in digital cameras and image processing. The TrustNXT platform verifies the origin, content and metadata of visual content and enables its customers to assess the trustworthiness of photo and video data. In times when artificial intelligence can be used to create deceptively real images in a matter of seconds, this is a service that is increasingly in demand.

The solution is already being used in the insurance sector. It exposes manipulated damage photos, for example in car accidents, and helps to automate and speed up the processing of claims. Further development of the technology is focusing on tamper-proof real-time protection of video data in industrial applications. The first pilot projects in industry are planned for 2026.

“In a world where AI can generate deceptively real images in seconds, trust and data integrity are crucial. Our mission is to secure this integrity for businesses.”
Ariane Scheer-Danielsson, co-founder and managing director of TrustNXT
