IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH had a very special reason to celebrate in october: toern was the 100th startup to receive funding from the InnoFounder programme. Skillbased and the fintech 1Up Capital are also newcomers at IFB.
toern
One of the major criticisms of online shopping is the high proportion of returns. Depending on the product category, up to 50 % of orders are returned to the e-commerce company. This need not be the case, because there is often enough demand to send the goods directly to the next address. This is exactly what tœrn's returns portal organises and thus helps to save time, costs and CO2. The application can be easily integrated into the usual online shops via an interface.
Skillbased
Like toern, Skillbased has also received funding from the InnoFounder programme. This startup is building a job matching platform where university degrees or professional qualifications do not play a decisive role. You don't have to submit a classic CV to Skillbased either. Instead, you complete a personality test and indicate, for example, what specific professional and programming and language skills you have. The resulting profile is then matched with job descriptions.
1Up Capital
New to the InnoFinTech funding programme designed for the financial sector is 1Up Capital. Founded in 2020, the Hamburg-based company helps providers of apps and video games optimise their revenues and tap into new sources of income. The declared goal of 1Up Capital is to help its customers become real industry leaders. The focus is on measures for user retention and acquisition.
