Yacht Cabin

The startup Yacht Cabin has found a place in the InnoFounder programme. According to the company, it has developed a ridesharing app for boat owners that allows them to reduce the time they spend looking for a crew from weeks to less than 24 hours. For travellers, Yacht Cabin offers the opportunity to take part in a sailing trip by sharing only the basic costs such as food and fuel - or even for free - instead of renting expensive charter boats that can cost thousands of euros.

DNA ME

The human genome contained in DNA is considered to be decoded; there are almost 20,000 genes. However, analysing it precisely still involves a great deal of effort. The startup DNA ME, funded by the InnoRampUp programme, wants to change this. Its technology extracts information directly from the DNA molecule and, among other things, identifies mutations to enable the early detection of diseases and personalised medicine for the entire population. The startup's aim is to make DNA sequencing so simple that it can even be carried out as an experiment in middle school biology lessons.

We have already reported on the two financing rounds with the participation of IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH in two news articles. Flexvelop received 4 million euros and an additional 40 million euros in loans. mo:re received 2.3 million euros.
