Success Stories Startups Ecosystem Hamburg

For many Hamburg startups, IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH is the first place to go when it comes to financial support. Over 300 young companies have already benefited from the various funding programs. From now on, we would like to present the current fundings here  and start with the new additions from July: WeDart, NiftPad, Immozy and inlinity.

WeDart digitizes the game of darts

Darts has long since evolved from a booze-soaked pub pastime to a high stakes competitive sport that demands high precision. Accordingly, training has also become intensely professionalized. The Hamburg-based startup WeDart has taken this trend into account and developed a system consisting of a special dartboard and an app that enables precise analyses and helps create training plans. Online games are also possible with it. This received funding under the InnoFounder program, which offers personal grants of up to 75,000 euros.

NiftPad enables trading with NFTs

NiftPad, a startup originally created at the University of Cambridge that is now coming to Hamburg, is also receiving this. It offers a platform that allows companies to participate in the NFT boom. They can create these virtual valuables and objects without having to write a single line of code. They can then sell them via stores designed for this purpose, thus opening up new sources of revenue and customer potential.

Immozy helps with real estate purchases

A funding program launched in 2022 by IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH is called InnoFinTech and is aimed at startups that advance the digitalization of the financial sector. Grants of up to 200,000 euros are possible here. One of the first startups to benefit from this funding is Immozy. Immozy wants to help people realize the dream of owning their own property and defines itself as a digital companion, from searching and finding the right real estate to the notary appointment and conclusion of the contract.

inlinity brings artificial intelligence to the financial sector

Also placed at InnoFinTech is inlinity. The team specializes in the complex world of artificial intelligence (AI) and, in particular, in the financial sector. For example, it can help banks define the appropriate applications and tools of AI and implement them for practical use.
