These are the Startup-Champs for Hamburg
On June 22, the finals of the Startup-Champs Germany competition will take place in Munich, where young companies from the field of "Digital Health" will compete. The Hamburg participants are dpv-analytics, myndpaar and doctorderma. In this article, you can learn more about these startups and what awaits them in Munich.
In the Startup Champs, the cities of Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Cologne will each send three candidates into the race. One winning team per city and one overall winner will then be determined. The decision will be made by a jury of experts, in which Hamburg is represented by investor Alexander Winterling. Prizes include regional membership of HIP Hamburg, participation in Slush in Helsinki and workshops by PwC and Taylor Wessing. The Munich trip, organized by the Startup Unit of Hamburg Invest, begins with an appearance by the three Hamburg finalists at Bits & Pretzels HealthTech on June 20 and 21. dpv-analytics
The startup dpv-analytics, which emerged from Cardiologicum Hamburg in 2018, has developed a solution to simplify heart attack and stroke prophylaxis. ritmo is the name of the invention by Hamburg-based physicians Ekkehard Schmidt, MD, Stephan Kranz, MD, and Matthias Glawe, MD. It is a new type of mini ECG system, which is intended to replace the current long-term ECG in the future. Data evaluation is performed by artificial intelligence as well as physician validation. dpv-analytics has already received several awards, including the Gunnar Uldall Business Award 2022.
myndpaar
Couples therapy via app - that is the vision of myndpaar. The core team of the startup consists of:
Dipl.-Psych. Ulrich Wilken is a psychological psychotherapist and has worked as a lecturer and therapist at the Institute for Systemic Studies for over 30 years. He has specialized in couples therapy for 20 years.
Leonie Wilken has worked as a project manager and innovation consultant for the last 5 years. She had the founding idea and leads the project.
Sophie-Catherine Ohlsen has been working in the innovation field for over 6 years. She has consulted for Doblin (Deloitte) to companies in various industries.
doctorderma
The startup doctorderma promises an online diagnosis of skin diseases within 24 hours. All patients have to do is upload a few photos of the affected skin area and answer a few questions. The evaluation is then carried out by qualified specialists, who in most cases can immediately initiate the appropriate treatment. 25 euro costs the service, private patients get the amount already from their cash refunded. The founding team, consisting of Lisanne Hake, Marc Hoffmann, Dr. Christian Drerup and Florian Beck-Klaus, combines medical, business and IT expertise.
