Successful premiere for a new event format: Last Friday, May 5, students came into conversation with companies. The JOBKICKOFF was primarily intended to bring students from the MINT sector together with companies so that the young talents could take their first career step. The venue was the Millerntor Stadium, where FC St. Pauli usually plays its home games.

Companies compete for talent at JOBKICKOFF

At the first edition of JOBKICKOFF, representatives from ten companies met with 75 students and high school graduates. In a relaxed stadium atmosphere, they played table football, laughed and, of course, talked about job and entry-level opportunities. The format provided a direct way for everyone to get to know each other and enabled an honest dialogue at eye level. For companies looking to break new ground in the hunt for talent, the meeting offered an excellent opportunity to attract the professionals of tomorrow today.

The event was supported by the Startup-Unit Hamburg and the Talent Service of Hamburg Invest to provide orientation in the startup sector. Organizer and host was the company Silpion IT-Solutions, which incorporated its expertise for networking events of the last ten years in the JOBKICKOFF and thus wants to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in the digital industry. Silpion has also made a name for itself as the organizer of solutions:, a congress for digital transformation.
