betahaus Hamburg takes over former WeWork space

To date, betahaus Hamburg has operated branches in the Schanzenviertel and HafenCity. In the Richard-Böse-Haus, on the site of the former WeWork on Gänsemarkt, a third location with an area of around 2,100 square meters will be added. Following betahaus Berlin's recent move, the concept of management agreements is now being implemented by the Hamburg-based coworking space provider for the first time. In contrast to the classic rental relationship, this is based on operational cooperation between both parties. The owner shares in the turnover and betahaus does not have to commit to long-term rental obligations and can adapt flexibly to market requirements.

“The owner benefits from our almost fifteen years of experience and does not have to worry about day-to-day operations, while we can concentrate fully on the further development of the site. So everyone is pulling in the same direction and pursuing a common goal.”
Robert Beddies, Managing Director of betahaus Hamburg

The focus at the new location will be on renting event space, office solutions for small and medium-sized companies of up to 50 people and community-oriented coworking. Interested parties can already arrange viewing appointments and the official opening is planned for the beginning of April.
