Giving Hamburg's female startup founders more visibility and awarding the best of them - that is the goal of the STARTERiN Hamburg 2025 competition, which Hamburg Startups is now organising for the fourth time. The application phase has just started and will last until 15 September.
The application criteria for STARTERiN Hamburg 2025
The competition is aimed at female solopreneurs, female founding teams and female founders from mixed teams. Other conditions for participation are:
The prize will be awarded in three categories: tech, commerce and impact. The allocation is not made according to too strict criteria, every application has a chance.
The startup must be no more than five years old.
The startup must be based in the metropolitan area of Hamburg.
Victory goes via a public voting and a pitch
After the application deadline on 15 September, the Hamburg Startups team will carefully select twelve candidates per category. They will then take part in an online public voting from 6 to to 27 October. The two female founders with the most votes in each category will then compete in the decisive pitch at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce on 3 December. There, a jury of experts will select the three winners. The final will take place as the concluding highlight of the Connect & Learn all-day conference, which will impart startup knowledge and provide ample opportunity for networking.
