Participants in the round include heise ventures, which belongs to the media company heise, Bucerius Executive Education from Bucerius Law School, and Roecklin Capital & Distart, which specialises in digital continuing education. Business angels Jens Schumann and Dr Hans-Wilhelm Jenckel have also invested. AI Club was founded in 2024 by Aaron Keilhau, who gained startup experience in 2015 as co-founder of Pay with Tweet (later renamed Firal). The capital now received will primarily be used to expand the team. A total of six full-time positions in product development, marketing and sales is currently advertised.

The AI Club platform offers a wide range of online courses, live sessions and workshops to teach AI skills for everyday work. The focus is on relevant use cases tailored to industry-specific requirements. The AI Legal Club focuses on legal issues. Other clubs within the club on topics such as video and advertising design or the automation of HR work processes using AI are to follow.

“With this investment, we want to empower even more people and organisations to successfully apply artificial intelligence – through job-related training, specialised tools and sustainable implementation.”
Aaron Keilhau, founder and CEO of AI Club
