12 million euros for plancraft in Series A financing round
The Hamburg-based startup plancraft has closed a Series A financing round totalling 12 million euros. The company uses software to enable craft businesses to overcome current challenges such as the shortage of skilled labour and bureaucracy. One billion euros in construction volume has already been processed through this. With the fresh capital, plancraft is aiming to become the leading European craftsman software.
plancraft has been on a growth trajectory since 2020
The round is led by the venture capital firm Creandum. Existing investors such as Bitstone Capital and High-Tech Gründerfonds are also involved. They were won over by a software solution for the digitalisation of work processes in the skilled trades, including invoicing, price calculation, construction site documentation and time recording. plancraft was founded in February 2020 by Julian Wiedenhaus, Alexander Noll and Richard Keil. The company currently employs more than 40 people and serves over 10,000 customers.
The portfolio of main investor Creandum comprises more than 120 companies, including Spotify, Klarna, Depop, Trade Republic, Pleo and neo4j. Every sixth investment has developed into a unicorn with a billion-euro valuation. Creandum's consulting teams are based in Stockholm, London, Berlin and San Francisco. They offer startups support from foundation to exit.
