The Startup Unit offers information and support from a single source to people interested in starting a business and to founders with a focus on knowledge and technology-oriented business models. It sees itself as a central contact point for all questions regarding the startup offers of the city of Hamburg, financing as well as important events and networks in the Hanseatic city. The Startup Unit bundles the competences necessary for central marketing and national and international positioning as a startup hotspot. At the interface of city marketing and business development, it strengthens Hamburg's ecosystem for startups. The Startup Unit enables participation in selected (inter)national conferences through cooperation contributions and networking with partners.
