Travel with the Startup-Unit of Hamburg Invest to the Web Summit in Lisbon!
From November 1 to 4, 2022, Lisbon will once again be the hub of the tech world. The Web Summit will attract more than 70,000 participants from over 160 countries to the Portuguese capital. Over 900 speakers, more than 2,300 startups and around 1,200 investors will ensure a rich program and a variety of valuable networking opportunities. This year, the Startup-Unit of Hamburg Invest is supporting a Hamburg startup to experience this major event up close.
Benefits and conditions of participation
The participating startup will be offered the following:
Conference ticket for 2 persons
Participation in the German joint booth
Integration in own events and networks of the Startup-Unit Hamburg
The following conditions apply to the application:
Business model in the tech sector that contributes to digital development (knowledge- or technology-oriented business model)
Company headquarters in Hamburg or the Hamburg metropolitan region
Age of the startup max. 10 years
Meaningful proof of a strong product-market fit of the own product
Presentation of a justified entrepreneurial interest in participating in the Web Summit 2022.
The booking and organization of the trip is done by the participants themselves. Support is provided by the Startup-Unit of Hamburg Invest for matchmaking in the run-up and on site.
If you want to be part of the Web Summit, explain until Tuesday, August 9 in a short text of maximum 600 characters in an email to startup-unit@hamburg-invest.com, why your startup should not be missing in Lisbon. To support this, please include meaningful information about your startup, ideally as a pitch deck.
All submissions received by the deadline will be evaluated by a jury of experts according to maturity, scalability and international marketability. The selected startup will be notified by email no later than Wednesday, August 18. More information about the call for entries can be found here.
