Startups with internationalisation high on their agenda should not ignore one location: Dubai. Two of the world's most important tech trade fairs, GITEX GLOBAL and the associated Expand North Star, will take place there in October. The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and the Hamburg Representative Office in Dubai are organising a delegation trip for this occasion, which you can register for until 30 July.
This is how the trip to Dubai proceeds
Participants book and pay for their travel and accommodation themselves. A selection of possible hotels will be made available after binding registration. Organisation and costs for transport and meals on site as well as participation in the trade fairs will be borne by the Chamber of Commerce. No participation fee will be charged. This speaks in favour of making the trip to Dubai from 10 to 16 October:
Access to two high-calibre international trade fairs
Networking with investors, innovation hubs and international tech communities
Insights into key future topics such as AI, DeepTech, Smart City & digital administration
Strengthening the Hamburg-Dubai innovation partnership
The organised programme runs from 11 to 15 October and includes joint roundtables, dinners and meetings with delegations from key institutions in Dubai. The information stand of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce in the German pavilion at GITEX GLOBAL will serve as a contact point for all participants throughout the trade fair.
