One of the most important events in the international startup calendar is Slush in Helsinki, which will take place this year on November 20 and 21. The Investor Day is already on the agenda the day before, a signal that there is great focus on networking between founders and investors. Hamburg will be strongly represented at Slush, including at a joint stand of the Startup-Champs.
Parto takes part as winner of Startup-Champs Germany
Startup-Champs Germany is an initiative of the startup metropolitan areas of Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Cologne. In April 2024, the Hamburg-based startup Parto, then still known as Participayed, won first place in a pitch competition between the four cities and thus a place at the joint stand at Slush. Parto is developing a digital payment solution for people in care who are otherwise dependent on cash and therefore excluded from many transactions.
Six more Hamburg startups for Helsinki
In addition to Parto, there are six other Hamburg startups at the joint stand (booth 7A11) that have secured their place by applying to Hamburg Invest's Startup-Unit. Holy Technologies is developing a scalable autonomous production system that makes components lighter and recyclable and their production more cost-effective and climate-friendly. Zelvor offers a tool for professional calendar planning in a matter of seconds. SupplyET presents a supply chain planning software designed to optimize costs, sales and emissions.
Buildlinx uses its software to analyze the energy consumption of public buildings and promises potential savings of up to 40%. myndwerk wants to help overcome relationship crises with its myndpaar app. And Goyaa makes work in law firms easier with its platform solution for file and document management. A total of up to 13,000 visitors are expected at Slush, including around 3,300 investors and, of course, many other startups and players from the Hamburg ecosystem.
