Success Stories Startups Ecosystem Hamburg

September was a particularly eventful month for Hamburg's startup scene. This is also reflected in the activities of IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH. As many as six startups received funding: PLAN3T, Fintico, Flexvelop, New Work Talent, ACTitude and CLOUDSUPPLIES.

PLAN3T makes consumption more climate-friendly

The InnoFinTech program, which distributes up to 200,000 euros per project, is currently particularly popular. The PLAN3T team is also benefiting from this. It wants to encourage sustainable consumption with an app. Over 60 sustainable partner companies are registered with PLAN3T. For each purchase, up to 5% of the turnover goes back to the customer, which can then be invested in climate protection programs. In addition, customers receive information about their consumption-related carbon footprint.

Fintico finds the best installment loan

Fintico - the name of this startup already reveals that this company, which was only founded in 2022, is also funded by InnoFinTech. It has set out to revolutionize installment buying and is building a marketplace that brings together online shops, banks and customers. The goal is to find the best offer for an installment loan within seconds.

Flexvelop rents out all kinds of equipment

Flexvelop, the third fintech in the bunch, addresses a B2B target group. The startup, which specializes in leasing commercially used machinery and equipment, has been around since 2018. This can be the printer for the office, a coffee machine in the bistro or the drill for a dentist. In the beginning, this saves the high acquisition costs; once the business has developed successfully, the equipment can also be purchased.

New Work Talent banks on "Career Mums“

New Work Talent is still so new that it does not yet have its own website. At least it exists for the startup's first project: Mom Hunting wants to give "Career Mums" a place in the working world. This refers to mothers who can contribute their professional expertise while preferring flexible work models. Funding from the InnoFounder program is intended to move the project forward.

ACTitude helps with stress management

Already on the market is ACTitude, also InnoFounder-funded. Stress management and increasing self-esteem are the topics here, and scientifically based online courses offer solutions. A course on dealing with stress is even paid for by health insurance companies. This also makes economic sense, because stress-related illnesses cause absences from work, the costs of which can run into the billions.

CLOUDSUPPLIES automates IT processes

InnoRampUp is a funding program for startups that have already had some success with their highly innovative business models. CLOUDSUPPLIES belongs to this category. The startup has developed an automation platform that frees IT teams from daily repetitive tasks and allows more freedom for digitization and business growth. The fact that artificial intelligence is also used in the process is almost a given these days.
