These startups were funded by IFB in January 2024 – part 2
In a recent article, we presented five startups that received funding from the InnoFounder program of IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH in January 2024. Today, five more recipients from the InnoRampUp and InnoImpact programs follow: Sonia, Recyclabs, saferspaces, Score 4 Impact and Invest It!
Sonia
Sonia qualified for the InnoRampUp program. This startup promises to take a lot of work off dentists' hands when it comes to documentation processes, thereby increasing their turnover by up to 30%. Software that works with artificial intelligence not only takes on documentation tasks, but also creates invoices and treatment and cost plans. The two founders, Dr. Johannes Jacubeit and Philipp Kuhn-Régnier, already have extensive experience as entrepreneurs in the medical sector.
Recylabs
Back in 2022, Recyclabs, then still known as DePla, won an award at the Hamburg Innovation Summit. The startup is now also receiving InnoRampUp funding. It owes its success to a new technology that aims to increase the recycling rate of plastic waste. Recyclabs can reprocess plastic waste that was previously not recyclable and recover valuable raw materials from it.
saferspaces
With InnoImpact, IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH has launched a new funding program dedicated to social entrepreneurship. The first three startups in this category were announced in January 2024. One of them is saferspaces. The startup uses QR codes and smartphones to call for help quickly and easily in threatening situations in public places. It is not necessary to install a separate app.
Score 4 Impact
Can sustainable and value-oriented action be combined with economic success? This is certainly the view of the non-profit startup Score 4 Impact. It advises companies on their transformation, develops strategies and helps with implementation. Score 4 Impact is primarily financed by sponsoring memberships and is not profit-oriented. The new InnoImpact program makes it possible to support such projects as well.
Invest it!
How do I deal with debt, how do I provide for my old age and what should I include in a tax return? Questions like these are answered far too rarely at school and financial topics are scarcely on the curriculum. The registered association Invest it! closes the gaps in knowledge and reaches young people in schools and via an app. The team consists of over 25 members and has a prominent patron in Finance Minister Christian Lindner.
