Startup-Champs 2025: These are the participants from Hamburg
On November 5, the sixth edition of the Startup-Champs Germany competition will take place in Cologne. Three startups from each of the four most important startup cities will compete there, with this year's theme being artificial intelligence. Representing Hamburg at the STARTUPLAND stage in Cologne are Aurelytix, CLOUDSUPPLIES and mAI, which we will briefly introduce in this article.
Aurelytix
There are now quite a few startups that use artificial intelligence to evaluate internal and external data for companies and use it to generate recommendations for action and forecasts. Aurelytix also falls into this category, where its focus is on finance. The information platform is designed to help managers identify anomalies at an early stage and make strategic decisions to optimize growth. The solution is fully GDPR-compliant and runs on secure local GPU servers in Germany. Founder Anusha Akkina brings international experience from the financial sector to the table.
CLOUDSUPPLIES
The next candidate from Hamburg, CLOUDSUPPLIES, already has several successes in startup competitions under its belt. In 2023, the company won the jury prize at AI.SUMMIT, and in 2024, it took second place at GründerGeist. This is thanks to the MILTON AI platform, which takes over routine IT tasks. It solves several problems at once: employees can concentrate on creative and strategic tasks, automation saves time and money, and it is also a remedy for the shortage of skilled workers. Co-founder Olaf Schäfers will pitch for CLOUDSUPPLIES in Cologne.
mAI
The mAI platform defines itself as a software offering that enables a multitude of AI applications. These range from simple chat communication and inquiries to digital activities such as setting up out-of-office notifications to developing software and digitization projects. mAI uses intelligent routing to recognize which activity is required and prepares responses, queries, and actions comprehensively, automatically, and in a data-efficient manner. CEO and CTO Kristof Hackethal will be on stage at Startup-Champs.
