Nect honored as third-fastest growing technology company in 2022
Every year, the consulting firm Deloitte honors the fastest-growing technology companies in Germany with the Technology Fast 50 Award. The assessment criterion is the average percentage growth in sales over the last four fiscal years. In 2022, third place went to Nect, while three other startups from Hamburg made it into the top 50 as well.
Software dominates among the winners
The award ceremony, which recently took place in Berlin, was the twentieth edition of the Technology Fast 50 Award in Germany. Startups from the fields of biotechnology & pharmaceuticals, energy technology, communications, digital content, media & entertainment, hardware, medical technology, software and fintech are eligible to participate. Candidates must have generated at least 50,000 euros in revenue in 2018 and at least one million euros in 2021. Just under half of the award-winning companies can be assigned to the software division. This also applies to IoT Venture from Darmstadt (1st place), Climedo from Munich (2nd place) and Nect from Hamburg (3rd place).

Appinio also made it into the top 10 (9th). The Hamburg-based startup has already received numerous awards for its digitalization of market research and was also nominated for the German Founders' Prize in 2022.
