The location initiative nextMedia.Hamburg is supported by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg as well as committed companies and innovative actors and has been part of Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft since 2018. Its core task is to promote and support new, sustainable business models at the interface of content and technology.
The most important funding program is MediaLift, where startups and solopreneurs from the media world receive financial support of up to 15,000 euros. This is supplemented by extensive coaching and networking opportunities. Other projects and programs deal with the connections between the media industry and other areas such as mobility, climate protection, artificial intelligence and much more.
