The ITS World Congress, one of the most important events on the topic of mobility, took place in Hamburg in 2021. In June 2025, the next major event in the industry is on the agenda, the UITP Summit. There will be a large Startup Area, for which you can apply now.
This is the UITP Summit
UITP stands for Union Internationale des Transports Publics (french), the international association for local public transport based in Brussels. Founded in 1885, the UITP Summit is considered the most important event for the public transport sector worldwide, with around 10,000 participants from 110 countries attending the last edition. From 2025, the event will be held annually, next year in Hamburg, 2026 in Dubai and 2027 again in Hamburg. An extensive conference programme with a focus on sustainable and climate-neutral mobility is planned for the edition from 15 to 18 June 2025. The expo offers space for over 300 exhibitors, with 32 stands in the Startup Area.
Companies can apply for this Startup Area until 29 November 2024. They should come from the mobility industry or act as a service provider for it and fulfil the following criteria:
The company was founded between 2014 and 2024.
Annual turnover does not exceed 10 million euros.
The number of employees is no more than 40.
The stand in the Startup Area costs 1,500 euros plus VAT. The following services are included:
