Event on the Hamburg-Israel Innovation Partnership on July 6
In February 2023, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, Hamburg Invest and the German-Israeli Chamber of Commerce Abroad entered into an innovation partnership that aims to bring the business metropolis of Hamburg and the startup country of Israel closer together. A round table will now be held on July 6 to provide information about the opportunities offered by this cooperation.
Techscouting brings Hamburg and Israel together
Israel is one of the most innovative countries in the world due to its high concentration of startups and venture capital per capita. Over 8,000 startups form a dense ecosystem from which more than 380 international corporations such as Amazon, Google, Pfizer, GE, Intel and Microsoft are already benefiting. These companies have direct access to talented professionals and cutting-edge technologies through their own local research and development centers, technology scouts and equity investments.
Techscouting is at the heart of the innovation partnership. This gives Hamburg's companies a better overview of new technologies and digital solutions in Israel and easier contact with potential partner companies. It is also intended to promote the settlement in Hamburg by Israeli startups and scaleups.
The information event, which will take place on July 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, will provide a comprehensive overview of Israel's innovative ecosystem and insights into developments in the areas of fintech, cybersecurity, maritime, mobility, logistics and supply chains, aerospace, digital health/life science, as well as sustainability, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. It will also show how Hamburg companies can benefit from the know-how. The round table with company examples will be followed by a networking lunch. Learn more about the event and the program here.
