HandsOn! continues its winning streak

This continues HandsOn!'s run of success. The founders Elena Dwenger and Aylin Kitte had already won an interim pitch organised by the incubator, which entitled them to take part in the Female StartAperitivo founders competition. They came second in the nationwide final. The money will be used to press ahead with the official founding of the startup. HandsOn! aims to make skilled trades more attractive and appeal to women in particular. The two have already held numerous talks with companies that would offer trial years.

13 new teams at the start

The teams from the new promotion year were also on site. An expert jury had selected 13 projects from over 70 applications, which were briefly presented in an elevator pitch. Participants must not be older than 30 and their startup idea must take into account at least one of the United Nations' sustainable development goals. The programme comprises three phases. Firstly, general startup knowledge is taught in workshops. In the prototyping phase, the product or service is concretised and further developed. At the end of the programme, the startups are prepared for launch.
