Hamburg Invest's Startup Unit brings startups to CES Unveiled in Amsterdam
CES is one of the most influential technology events in the world - the testing ground for breakthrough technologies and global innovation. It's where the world's biggest brands do business, meet new partners, and where the most creative innovators take the stage. Hamburg Invest's Startup Unit is now enabling four Hamburg-based startups to attend a pre-event in Amsterdam on October 13.
The CES, which is organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), organizes several Unveiled events worldwide for media, trade visitors and exhibitors to present the latest products and trends in the run-up to CES in Las Vegas in 2023. This CES Unveiled event series brings together key players in the technology industry, including innovative technology companies, influential media, executives, key policymakers and prominent technology industry influencers.
Services and conditions of participation
The kick-off event will take place in Paris, and the journey will continue to Amsterdam on October 13, 2022. Under the motto "Tech for a Better Tomorrow", an exciting conference program awaits you there from 09.30 to 17.00 hrs. This year the Startup-Unit of Hamburg Invest supports four startups from Hamburg to experience the CES firsthand. As a participating startup you will receive:
Two exhibitor passes per startup
Booth participation
Integration in own events and networks of the Startup-Unit Hamburg
If you are looking for new international investors, media attention, mentors or ideas and would like to participate in CES Unveiled with your startup, you can apply if you meet the following conditions:
Company headquarters in Hamburg or the Hamburg metropolitan region
Age of the startup at least two years
A strong product-market fit of the own product is provably available
A justified entrepreneurial interest to participate in CES
By Sunday, September 25, 2022, write in a short text of no more than 600 characters to startup-unit@hamburg-invest.com why your startup in particular should attend the international startup conference. Please also include meaningful information about your startup (e.g. pitch deck, website link or similar).
If more applications are received by the deadline than there are available spots, an evaluation of the submitted information will be made by an internal jury of experts based on the following criteria: Maturity, scalability as well as international marketability of the startup. The four selected startups will be notified by email no later than Friday, September 30. The booking and organization of the trip will be done by the participants themselves.
