SMAFO is closely linked to Hamburg

Closely linked to the city of Hamburg is the company's origin story. The two founders, Sven-Ulrik Schneider and André Thiele, attended the Hamburg Media School for further training, where the joint idea for SMAFO was quickly born. The opening of the pop-up store at Bucerius Kunst Form (Alter Wall 12) now represents an important milestone in the company's history. At the opening ceremony, Transport Senator Anjes Tjarks will give a welcoming speech.

"We are very pleased to return with our pop-up store to the place where the SMAFO idea originated. Hamburg has an inspiring bike culture. We're very much looking forward to interacting with the city and the people, many of whom are already our customers."
