The healthcare sector was one of the winners in 2024. According to the EY Startup-Barometer, the financing volume in this sector more than doubled. Health startups therefore have great potential for success, but also face major economic and regulatory challenges. A mentoring programme from the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce aims to help them master these.
Mentors with industry experience are available
The programme is aimed at startups from the healthcare industry that are still in the early stages and at people who have the founding ahead of them yet. In this phase, particularly urgent and fundamental questions arise, which the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce offers support in answering. To this end, the mentoring program brings founders together with experienced entrepreneurs and experts who provide them with exclusive support. The mentoring pool includes contact persons from almost all major health insurance companies.
Under the motto “From practice for practice”, one-off meetings are arranged as well as longer consultation processes. The contact person at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce is Ilka Einfeldt, Healthcare Industry Consultant. Applications should be sent by e-mail to ilka.einfeldt@hk24.de with a profile of the company and a description of the current issue. If you have any questions beforehand, you can reach her on 040 / 36138-424.
