bulb - a new initiative for startups

Up to now, the AGA Unternehmensverband has mainly represented medium-sized companies in northern Germany. With its bulb brand, it is now breaking new ground by also representing the interests of startups. The initiative promises services that founders cannot find elsewhere and integration into a large network that provides the right contacts at the right time.

bulb offers comprehensive advice and networking

bulb is aimed at founders from all sectors and opens up the entire range of AGA services to startups throughout Germany. As part of the bulb community, they benefit, for example, from "flat-rate advice" on labor and social security issues. Every concern - from brief information on the phone to legal representation in court - is covered.

Networking is indispensable for founders; the right contacts can open decisive doors and become a booster for one's own business. On the other hand, established companies from the AGA network, so-called "growups", are also increasingly looking to connect with startups. bulb brings both sides together in a targeted manner. Whether knowledge exchange, sales partnership, investment opportunity or joint venture: the goal is matchmaking with a win-win effect.

A symbolic name

The name bulb takes up the English expression for light bulb, which is often used as a symbol for flashes of inspiration and innovative ideas - in other words, exactly what startups stand for. Another meaning comes from shipping, which is well suited to the North. There, bulb is another name for the ship's nose, which improves seaworthiness and reduces water resistance by up to 10%. So with such a nose a ship goes safer and faster.

What they have in common is their passion for startups and the desire to help founders along their paths. This is also the purpose of the new podcast vorwaertsgang, which celebrated its premiere at the same time as the launch of bulb. Here, the bulb team talks to startups, experienced entrepreneurs and all those who get enthusiastic about entrepreneurship and innovation.
