Apply now for the OMR Gründer*innen Pitch
In 2024, the Gründer*innen Pitch will take place as part of the OMR Festival for the thrird time. The event, planned for May 7, is part of the OMR 5050 initiative, which is committed to a fair working world and gender parity in management positions in the economy. Impact startups whose founding teams consist of at least half women are eligible to apply.
Conditions of participation and competition procedure
A further condition for participation relates to the age of the startup: it should still be in its early stage, but should have been on the market for at least six months. Preference will be given to female applicants who are not only aiming for financial gain with an innovative idea, but are also pursuing measurable goals in areas such as social issues, diversity or ecology.
The application phase runs from January 15 to March 17. An expert jury will select ten startups from all submissions and inform them about them from March 22. The founders will receive an invitation to a networking dinner on April 17. There they will meet numerous prominent investors, including Verena Pausder, Lea-Sophie Cramer, Tina Müller and Fridtjof Detzner. Finally, five startups will be given the opportunity to present themselves to the OMR Festival's large audience. The stage is theirs on the first day of the festival, May 7, where an extensive program on the topic of equal rights in the world of work will take place.
