These startups were funded by IFB in February 2025
IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH added four startups to its funding programmes in February 2025. In this article, we briefly introduce _SWAP-Events, AIDAR, PLOVITI and VAARHAFT.

_SWAP Events
_SWAP-Events is the new addition to the InnoImpact programme this month. The startup organises professional clothing swap events. Whether sporting meetings, anniversary celebrations or team-building events - there are virtually no limits to creativity. The aim is to make the consumption of clothing more sustainable and to prioritise swapping over buying new. SWAP-Events would like to make this principle accessible in particular to young people, who are especially susceptible to fast fashion, and is therefore planning workshops at schools.

AIDAR
AIDAR has secured a place in the InnoFounder programme. The company's name stands for “AI driven A&R”. Obviously, the startup works with artificial intelligence and is at home in the music industry. This is where the abbreviation A&R for “Artists and Repertoire” comes from, a term that refers to the department of a record company that is responsible for tracking down new trends and artists. AIDAR supports smaller, independent labels in particular and has access to a database of over 4.8 million acts and almost 30 million pieces of music.

PLOVITI
If you have passed all the checks and controls before a flight, you often still have enough time to go shopping or grab a bite to eat. At large airports, however, it is often not so easy to get an overview of the best offers. The startup PLOVITI, which was founded just a few months ago, wants to help with this and make the search easier with precise location descriptions. The InnoFounder funding will be used to develop the service, as there is no website yet, for example.

VAARHAFT
In the age of artificial intelligence, forgeries of photos, videos, audio and text documents, so-called deepfakes, can hardly be distinguished from authentic digital media. Failure to recognise this can have serious consequences for companies in particular. The startup VAARHAFT, new to the InnoFinTech programme, offers a software solution based on deep learning that protects against such misjudgements. In other words, AI is used here to detect AI manipulation.
