awork aims to double the number of customers

awork was founded by Tobias Hagenau, Lucas Bauche and Nils Czernig. The company emerged from the exit of the software startup HQLabs and uses its tool to support teams in their digital collaboration. The startup has the ambition to compete with international providers such as asana, Monday.com or Trello. Currently, awork employs over 30 people, and plans to hire another 15 with the fresh capital. The company is also aiming to double the number of users. This number is already over 17,000, distributed among around 2,200 corporate customers, including thjnk, fischerAppelt, Ströer and EnBW. As recently as November 2022, awork had secured 2 million euros via bridge financing.

“The funding round comes at a key moment - not only in our development at awork, but also in the development of the world of work. The new-work revolution is everywhere, and teams finally want to collaborate happily digitally. I think we are on the right track to turn the entire work management landscape upside down.”
Tobias Hagenau, CEO and Co-Founder of awork
