nextReality.Hamburg e.V. has the ambition to drive our Hanseatic city further in terms of XR technology! To this goal, the association promotes the interests of the local companies and is open as a contact partner for all aspects of the complex world of immersive media. One of the core tasks is to reduce barriers to VR and AR technologies, to educate and to network. To this end, nextReality.Hamburg e.V. regularly hosts Meetups and offers companies a platform in its blog, podcast and social media channels. Every year, the association organizes XRcon, a virtual conference on the topic of XR, and awards the nextReality.Contest, the most highly endowed industry prize in Germany.
