The oceans are drowning in plastic waste. Most of it consists of lost or discarded fishing nets, so-called ghost nets. These kill countless marine animals every year. We want to stop this! We salvage the ghost nets from the oceans and use them to make many new products such as our Bracenets in upcycled handicraft in Hamburg.
About the founders of Bracenet
Madeleine and Benjamin first discovered ghost nets while diving on holiday in Zanzibar in 2015. On the same holiday, the solution to the problem was obvious to them - or more precisely, on their wrist.
Milesstones & plans
