These startups were funded by IFB in March and April 2024
In the last two months, IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH has added four more startups to its funding programmes. In this article, we briefly introduce UrbView, MOVIRO, Zive and Soji AI.
UrbView
Artificial intelligence (AI) can help urban planning to better protect people who are verbally and physically attacked because of their gender or sexual orientation. This is the thesis of the startup UrbView, which received funding from the InnoImpact programme in March. With AI, risk factors such as poor visibility or insufficient lighting of places can be identified and avoided as early as the planning phase. The City of Hamburg recognised this approach back in 2022 by awarding it the Innovation in Digital Equality Award (IDEA).
MOVIRO
Mobility is the topic of MOVIRO, which, like all other following startups, officially found its place in the InnoFounder programme in April. MOVIRO aims to optimise the use of public transport while taking individual needs into account. This is to be achieved by combining on-demand services with scheduled public transport services. The algorithm developed for this purpose recently proved its worth in a test with DB Regio, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn.
Zive
Jan Marius Marquardt is anything but a newcomer in the startup world. He has already been extremely successful with COYO, a business software company. Now he and his co-founder Piers Wermbter, who also worked for COYO, want to take off again with their new startup Zive. To this end, they have developed an AI-based platform that automatically organises all of a company's knowledge to make it quickly and easily accessible to employees. Organisational structures can also be optimised with the Zive software.
Soji AI
Soji AI is an international startup with offices in Hamburg and Singapore. Here, artificial intelligence is used to improve the efficiency of companies and optimise work processes. Soji AI's target group includes industries as diverse as management consultancy, aerospace and fintech. Among other things, the AI is intended to help create compelling proposals, enable seamless knowledge searches, optimise training programmes and offer first-class customer support.
