These startups were funded by IFB in December 2023
IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH was particularly busy in December 2023 and included seven startups in its funding programmes. In this article, we briefly introduce Cleverpaid, Clama, Zelvor, RUDEL, Cybersec-DMS, MycoLutions and Colipi.
Cleverpaid
Cleverpaid is a new addition to the InnoFinTech programme. Founded in 2022, the startup aims to speed up the payment process for service providers in the logistics industry. They receive the money before the actual invoice is issued and within one hour of submitting their application. For pre-financing, Cleverpaid offers financing models tailored to the needs of customers and all processes are digital.
Clama
Clama is one of three startups that received support from the InnoFounder programme in December. The two founders Jannis Baalmann and Simon Huck have already shown with their GEGEMO anti-bullying project that they can successfully tackle controversial school topics. For Clama, they have developed the first German software that can be used to professionally document violence in schools and provide evidence-based recommendations for action.
Zelvor
Planning appointments is a tedious business, and the more people you have to juggle, the more complicated it becomes. The startup Zelvor offers a co-pilot that takes over the task. It checks who has time and when, takes time off work into account and organises the rescheduling of appointments in the event of cancellations. And it does all this automatically and in a matter of seconds.
RUDEL
For many people, their dog is a loyal friend whose welfare is particularly important to them. The startup RUDEL has built an app that helps you to better understand your dog and its needs. It provides tips and exercises for the health and training of the animal and even a financial overview of the costs associated with keeping a dog.
Cybersec-DMS
Also three startups received funding from the InnoRampUp programme in December 2023. Cybersec-DMS (the DMS stands for "Digital Maritime Solutions") uses artificial intelligence and quantum computing, two particularly promising technologies, to stay one step ahead of bots and malware spreaders and guarantee its customers the highest possible level of cyber security.
MycoLutions
Mycelium, the root-like network of fungi, may not only be an important building block for the food supply of the future, but it is also ideal as a basic component of building materials. The startup MycoLutions uses it for noise protection and improved acoustics in closed rooms. As it is biodegradable, it is not only the material itself that is particularly sustainable, but also its production. Coffee grounds and other organic waste can be used as a nutrient.
Colipi
Colipi is also pursuing MycoLutions' approach of developing a more environmentally friendly alternative to a widely used product or material. This startup aims to replace palm oil and utilises the gas fermentation of microorganisms. Here, too, agricultural waste products are used as a nutrient base, and the startup has also developed a process in which CO2 is bound instead of released.
