These are the startups of the Scaleup Landing Pad Hamburg 2023 - Part 2
In 2023, the Scaleup Landing Pad Hamburg funding programme again supports ten startups from all over the world to conquer the German and European market. We recently presented five of them, followed here by the other five companies from France, Israel, Estonia and Canada.
H3 Dynamics from France
Of all the companies qualified for Scaleup Landing Pad Hamburg 2023, H3 Dynamics from Toulouse, where Airbus is also located, is probably the most advanced. It has already closed a Series B funding round in the amount of 26 million US dollars and successfully conducted several tests with hydrogen-powered aircraft. The company aims to become the world's biggest aviation-focused hydrogen power and infrastructure supplier by 2030.
1MRobotics from Israel
1MRobotics has also been able to convince a number of investors of its merits, most recently in a Series A round of 16.5 million US dollars. The startup offers solutions for the organisation of decentralised, particularly compact warehouses that are interesting for online retail and other industries. In doing so, it relies on extensive automation and, as the name suggests, robot technology that largely makes personnel superfluous.
PowerUp Fuel Cells from Estland
PowerUp Fuel Cells is a technology company specialising in the development and production of state-of-the-art fuel cell systems, ensuring uninterrupted power supply with their generators. Applicable in many market sectors such as pharmaceutical, marine and telecommunication, the devices serve as a backup solution during power outages and interruptions, providing clean and portable energy.
Rexplorer from Estland
Rexplorer creates 3D models of photovoltaic systems on roofs. The startup promises to considerably facilitate sales activities in this way and to reduce the financial and time expenditure in customer acquisition by up to 80 %. Rexplorer is now also active in Germany and works with local installers to make its technology available to all customers interested in producing their own green energy.
Terrapin from Canada
More than half of the energy generated is lost as waste heat. Founded in 2016, the scaleup Terrapin helps companies use this waste heat to decarbonise their operations. Terrapin has built a multidisciplinary team of engineering, construction, operations and finance professionals to take projects from start to finish. It uses geothermal resources as another source of energy.
