Events July to September

As the summer holidays in Hamburg don't start until 18 July, July still has a number of smaller events to offer that are perfect for networking. You can always find an up-to-date overview in our event calendar. August then invites you to take a breather so that you can start September refreshed. Experience has shown that this is when things really get going.

It starts on 2 September with the KI-Summit, which will of course focus on the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence. The Ashoka Changemaker Summit from 5 to 7 September is set to be an international event with the motto "True Participation". The AiDiA Pitch on 7 September promises to be an exciting event. The startup competition for Black founders is entering its third round. The Hamburg Founder Awards ceremony on 9 September is a social event. There are no tickets available for this closed shop, but there are for the Hamburg Innovation Summit on 12 September, where the Hamburg Innovation Awards will be presented.

Prior to this, the scoopcamp on 11 September will focus on the latest trends in the media industry. Fans of culinary delights will get their money's worth from 12 to 16 September at the Open Mouth Festival, which also offers food startups a stage. The Hamburg Founders' Day on 13 September is aimed at the next generation of entrepreneurs, while the Reeperbahn Festival from 18 to 21 September will once again attract music fans from all over the world to Hamburg. The NEXT Conference with topics from the digital economy is embedded in this on 19 September. An eventful month slowly comes to an end on 25 September with the final of the GründerGeist startup competition.

Events October to December

The appointment book for the last three months of the year is still much less crowded. Anyone interested in jobs in the digital sector should make a note of 17 October and the Online-Karrieretag. The Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe on 23 and 24 October will focus on hydrogen, a topic that is so important for Hamburg. On 7 November, the Digital Hub Logistics will once again celebrate its Digital Hub Day, where more than just logistics topics will be on the agenda. From 18 to 24 November, Female Entrepreneurship Week 2024 aims to ensure more equal opportunities for female founders.

Events outside of Hamburg

There is no shortage of startup events in Hamburg, but occasionally it is worth looking beyond the city limits. For example, to Cologne, where marketing and tech experts will have a summit meeting at DMEXCO on 18 and 19 September. Or to Munich for Bits & Pretzels from 29 September to 1 October. EXPO Real, an international real estate trade fair where startups from Hamburg traditionally make an appearance, will also take place in Munich from 7 to 9 October. Always popular are Web Summit in Lisbon, this year from 11 to 14 November, and Slush in Helsinki, which will be a late highlight on 20 and 21 November.
